Welcome to Eujang High School. Please take your seat, don't mind the gum you'll get used to it. And definitely do not make eye contact with the kid in the back. He will ruin your high school life. I know you're not a mind reader, but definitely do not make him dislike how you look either. These are usually the tropes of bullies in any media, they don't like when people fight them, and they attack anyone they can strike fear into. Something that is commonplace in Eujang as everyone is a hyena waiting for one bully to take the fall for another sprinkled with some slave lackeys in between.
In SeoPass', and Razen's Weak Hero, The Curriculum has just begun and Colton Choi just found his first target, a scrawny male transfer student that looks like a girl named Gray Yeon with beautiful eyelashes and pretty hair with some baggage from his previous school. Gray sits at the front waiting for class to start, but has allowed Colton to ruin his life. Well, that sounds like bad news if he didn't grab his handbag, tie Colton's arms, drop Colton to his knees, and repeatedly slapped him until class began. Everyone thinks it's a joke until He does the same thing when Colton brings his friends to finish what he started. Gray's reputation of the White Mamba is about to begin.
Ben, Alex, and Gerard, two best friends, and one acquaintance have reputations of fighting try to observe Gray in hopes they can become friends. Ben Who is considered a truck, Alex who is considered Ben's sidekick, but secretly wants to be on the same level as Ben, and Gerard, a high kicking delinquent all come to Gray's aid when he is provoked by five people instead of the previous set of three. Gray comes to realize that he's not alone in fighting, and slowly opens up to his newfound family of friends.
Eugine, one of Gray's classmate explains to Gray that he's rising up an unspoken ranking system for delinquents across Korea. It's called The Yeongdeungpo Union (Union for short). Other schools begin rising up against him. This causes Teddy, another jerk to vandalize Gray's school supplies, and uses his lackeys to humiliate him starts to enjoy destroying the twerps' life.
Gray prepares for a rainy day by asking Eugine to get him a soda can. Gray takes Teddy's prized bag and takes it to his top classroom. He then waits for Teddy to rush in. Gray drops the bag out the window and sends a chalkboard eraser flying into Teddy's eyes blinding him and unable to throw punches at Gray. Gray then grabs the window curtains and wraps Teddy's head into a headlock. Gray grabs the soda can and consistently slams it into Teddy's head until he's knocked unconscious and unable to struggle. This increases his unwanted reputation even further.
Gray's cram school partly knows who Gray is because he excelled in all academics before the incident. One student gets dared to take Gray's picture of his Eujang uniform.. Gray realizes who the student is, and remembers another kid with a bright academic future. One who changed Gray for the better. One who could rival his academics if he wanted to, one who met the wrong classmates and was bullied. Lastly, one who was pushed off the school rooftop, and nobody did anything about. This was Gray's anger that fueled the incident of him knocking three students unconscious and expelling him to Eujang High.
Without anyone else realizing Gray's terrible past at Eujang, Gray is glad to meet people that enjoy his company, even if they're mostly delinquents/thugs. I can't wait to see how Gray grows from here, and I hope he can find friends to help him through his problem. This is an amazing series that I highly recommend reading.
