Lovely Hell August Launch week day 1 2021

Hey everyone, I'm late to the Webtoon launch week but I will review the first 3 chapters of each webtoon everyday this week. I hope I can find some favorites. I am a bit biased because i am more of an action packed reader than a romcom reader so I might not read all of the love stories unless one intrigues me.

For today, I decided to read Lovely Hell. It looks like it will be a romcom, but it's about a Demon who loses her wings, and a firefighter who gets caught in her fiery rage.

The first chapter introduces a demon woman being kicked out of a window from a different location into a park. She realizes that another demon named Julri (pronounced Jewery) has also taken her wings leaving bloody scars on her back where they previously were. Julri tells her that she'll see her again when the devil fixes her attitude and closes whatever connection brought the woman there. Angered at the events that followed, the woman goes into a violent rage burning the forest park she was sent to.

Cain, a firefighter at station 6 and a few other firefighters are arriving to the scene. Cain comments that it just rained that day, so there shouldn't be a fire. One of Cain's co-workers, states that since the flames were blue "May your god protect you." It is unknown if this worker knows something yet, but we haven't gotten his name either.

Cain decides to see if any civilians are in the park. Leaving his squad, he comes across a woman with horns, a tail, and golden eyes. The women starts attacking him in a blind rage while setting fire to the forest. She picks him up and yells, "Die Julri." Cain is then sent flying into a tree and knocked unconscious, meanwhile, the woman dodges a tree that fell from the fires and realizes that Cain is not Julri.

When Cain wakes up, he tells his friend that there was a woman in the fire with golden eyes and horns. His friend doesn't believe him and goes to let the captain know he's awake. Cain's captain tells him that because he has a contusion and inhaled a lot of smoke he needs to go home and rest or else he will suspend him for trying to go back to work with a contusion.

Cain thinks back to when he was a kid. His mom told him that if he misbehaved the devil would come and take him away. He remembered that he envisioned a snake lady in the church who told him he was a good boy. When he tried to tell his mother, both her and the priest of the church don't believe him, and call him disrespectful. He thinks about this to try to take his mind off of the woman that nobody saw

Cain disobeys orders and comes back to work when he feels rested. His friend tells him that he's lucky they're short staffed, and he'll only be a volunteer firefighter for the fire that just rang. Cain is told by a civilian that there are two more people inside, and tries to call in with the other workers. He gets no signal and decides to look for them himself.

When he gets inside the building, he witnesses the woman that threw him fighting with a person at their desk. She was asking him for help since he serves the seven princes of Hell. the man declines and she starts threatening him. The man replies, "Do it, Tanz. You know it won't make a difference." The woman named Tanz grabs the man by the throat and incinerates him leaving nothing behind. Even the ashes didn't exist.

I wonder how this series will be going foreword and will keep watching this one.
