Which High schooler senior will marry the lucky woman? That's what Ga-eun's friends and the readers want to find out.
Nimni's My Younger Brother's friend should explain that Ga-eun is going to fall in love with her high school senior brother's friend. However when you realize Ga-eun's little brother Sangu has three friends with different personalities, you realize that the main plot is for the Nuna to decide which one of Ha-eun friends is the best partner. Within the first few chapters, we meet Dowan, and Sangu with one more character in the later chapters
Ga-eun just wants to sleep her hangover away, but Ha-eun calls her and wakes her up. She's an annoyed and crying mascara face mess who just wants to hide from the world today. She angrily answers the phone trying to figure out what her brother is asking for. Ha-eun just asks if she's home. Ga-eun tells him that she's home because her class got canceled. Ha-eun is so stressed to hear this that he doesn't realize she also told him that she got dumped and would not like to be disturbed for the day.
Not noticing his sister's well-being, Ha-eun brings his friends over to her house to work on a project together. He says it should take about two hours. Ga-eun asks if they could work somewhere else. Ha-eun tells her no, and tries to say that the amount of times she didn't answer is like a "No Comment" becoming a "Yes." Ga-eun reluctantly accepts and says to "just hurry and get it over with."
Ha-eun apologies to his friends saying that his sister is just in a mood. Sangu, the class president decides that they should bring a gift the next time they barge in. He-eun says that he prefers sweet, but Ga-eun prefers sour. Dowan, the childhood friend recommends that they just go to a cafe and leave Ga-eun alone. Sangu says he can foot the bill since something came up at his house and they couldn't work there. Dowan tells Sangu that he's too nice and always takes responsibilities for things that aren't even Sangu's fault in the first place.
The boys decide to work on their school project at the cafe and begin to leave the house. Sangu decides to wash his hands before he leaves. Ga-eun, who has been waiting patiently to use the restroom decides that the coast is clear and bee lines it to the toilet. As she starts running to the bathroom, Sangu bumps into her and they both hit their heads and fall.
Ga-eun tries to escape the situation with some dignity by asking if Sangu is ok. Sangu says that he's the one who should be sorry. The two try to leave the conversation and get off the floor, but Ha-eun and Dowan both see them on the floor. Dowan looks pissed because he is pissed.
Dowan told Ha-eun to come back with Sangu so they could all leave together. He also tells Ha-eun that Ga-eun's social media profile and photos have either been changed or removed, and that she told them over the phone. He didn't want to mention it with Sangu in the room. Basically Dowan, the childhood friend is low-key stalking her, and considerers it to be normal behavior.
Dowan asks Ga-eun if she was crying, and she is both surprised, and angry at the question. She was trying to hide from the world that she was crying, but was it that obvious? The answer is yes. Ga-eun realizes her mascara shows off that she was crying and kicks all of the boys out of the house.
The next day, Minjeong runs up to Ga-eun on her way to work to tell her that her boyfriend has still kept some of their pictures on his social media page meaning that he might still like her a little bit, and they might be able to get back together. Minjeong tells her as much as he was a scumbag, she think's he's totally regretting breaking up with Ga-eun and might have feelings. This makes Ga-eun's day, but when she talks to another friend about this. That friend tells her that she misunderstood, and also gave Ga-eun a misunderstanding as well.
Minjeong's friend lets her know that the only pictures Ga-eun's ex has of Ga-eun on the page are the times that he bought her an expensive item, and she wore them. Ga-eun doesn't usually like to wear expensive items in public, so there aren't that many photos of her doing so, but all of the pictures are when she wore his gifts. Ga-eun realizes this when she walks into work and her ex- boyfriend is already hitting on another girl.
Ga-eun gets drunk with Minjeong that night, and needs someone to take her home, so they decide to call her younger brother. Minjeong realizes there are two Little bros in the phone, and texts the first one. Dowan gets a text to come to the bar to pick up Ga-eun, and he starts running as fast as he can to help her.
Dowan tells Minjeong that he's a friend of her brother's and will take Ga-eun home. On the way home Dowan feels that it would be easier for him to carry her on his back, and tells her to climb up. As he carries her home, he asks if the drinking and the crying are because of the guy that dumped her and asked, "Why are you like this... Why do you always try to take the more difficult rout when there's an easy route? Every time you ended up having your heart broken by those scumbags I've always been by your side... Why... Can't you just like me instead"
With the childhood friend's confession being the first we learn that he's always been at her side during all of her break-ups and knows what type of person she is, and secretly loves her trying not to let anyone else know. he seems to be an ok guy, but a little creepy when he stalks her social media. Right now I don't know how to feel about this series. I may or may not stay with this series, but for a romcom it should be a good series to keep reading.
